Responsibilities Include
- Process bi-weekly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees across multiple states
- Maintain and configure HRIS including:
- Pay groups, earnings/deduction codes, tax jurisdictions
- Pay policies, shift differentials, rounding rules, and T&A rules
- Workflow approvals and onboarding templates
- User roles, permissions, and security profiles
- Partner cross-functionally to troubleshoot and resolve payroll or HR data issues
- Build and maintain custom reports and dashboards related to payroll, HRIS, and compliance
- Oversee GL mapping and reporting for payroll-related journal entries
- Support and monitor system integrations with benefits vendors, finance, and time systems
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Participate in UAT, system upgrades, and new module implementations as needed
- Experience processing multi-state payroll for 1,000 employees
- 3–5 years of payroll experience, including hands-on HRIS configuration and processing
- Knowledge of payroll compliance, tax reporting, and GL reconciliation
- Strong reporting skills; ability to create, interpret, and act on data
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset
