Our client is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Human Resources Business Partner to support multi-state operations across the Western U.S. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership teams and employees, partnering closely with business leaders to drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, talent development, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
- Partner with regional leadership to align HR strategies with business objectives and operational goals
- Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, talent development, workforce planning, and organizational design
- Support multi-state HR compliance initiatives, including employment law guidance and policy implementation
- Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to support business decisions and improve organizational performance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with recruiting, benefits, compensation, payroll, and training teams to ensure consistent HR support
- Lead and support change management initiatives across a geographically dispersed workforce
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing employee culture
- Support leadership coaching, succession planning, and employee engagement initiatives
- Travel periodically to field locations to support operational teams and strengthen business partnerships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- 7 years of progressive HR experience, including experience supporting multi-site or multi-state operations
- Prior HR Business Partner experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR practices across Western states, including California
- Experience supporting large, decentralized workforces in fast-paced environments
- Strong employee relations, conflict resolution, and change management experience
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
- Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite required
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree and/or HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP)
- Experience within hospitality, transportation, aviation, luxury service, retail, or other customer-focused industries
- Experience with systems such as Paycom, Workday, or similar HR platforms
Compensation and Benefits:
- $100,000 - $125,000 (based on experience)
