Title: Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP)
Location: The position will provide coverage across the enterprise, supporting leaves of absence and other business needs as they arise. Initial assignment at one location, followed by rotation to another location. Expected duration at each site is approximately 4–5 months.
Duration: 6 months (potential extension up to 1 year)
Position Summary
The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) provides strategic advisement and consultation to assigned clients, leveraging expertise in modern HR practices, regulatory compliance, labor and employment law, and organizational effectiveness. The Sr. HRBP serves as the primary HR contact for business leaders, identifying and implementing HR solutions while partnering with HR subject matter experts as needed.
This role functions as a recognized HR expert, leading projects of critical organizational importance. The Sr. HRBP provides strategic guidance and recommendations to leadership, addressing highly complex HR matters requiring extensive analysis, evaluation, and decision-making. The position operates with a high degree of autonomy, develops methods and procedures for new assignments, mentors HR professionals, and performs tactical and administrative duties as necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Highly developed interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to establish credibility, build trust, and influence senior leaders.
- Expert knowledge of employment practices, labor relations, compensation administration, training, and other HR disciplines.
- Experience with ServiceNow and strong computer proficiency.
- Demonstrated expert knowledge of organizational policies and procedures and how HR functions impact broader organizational objectives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide strategic direction and develop actionable recommendations.
- Experience working in a complex healthcare or service-oriented organization.
- Previous experience working with labor unions.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strategic HR Business Partner (sHRBP), SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification.
Special Conditions
- Position may require travel between multiple work locations.
- Candidate must have reliable transportation and the ability to travel between assigned sites as needed.
