Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and business-oriented Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our growing biopharmaceutical organization. The HRBP will collaborate with business leaders and employees to drive people strategies that align with organizational objectives, foster employee engagement, support talent development, and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience partnering with managers in a fast-paced, regulated environment and possess strong skills in employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition support, and organizational development.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
- Partner with department leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies that support organizational success.
- Provide guidance on workforce planning, organizational design, succession planning, and talent management.
- Analyze workforce metrics and recommend solutions to improve productivity, retention, and employee engagement.
Employee Relations
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on HR policies, workplace concerns, and conflict resolution.
- Conduct employee investigations and recommend appropriate actions while ensuring fairness and compliance.
- Promote a positive work environment and support employee engagement initiatives.
Talent Management
- Support recruitment activities, including workforce planning, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Partner with leaders to identify talent gaps and implement development plans.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and coaching discussions.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
- Support leadership development initiatives and career progression planning.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Compensation & Benefits
- Assist in compensation review processes, salary benchmarking, and annual merit cycles.
- Support benefits communication and employee understanding of available programs.
HR Compliance & Policies
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Maintain knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends within the biopharmaceutical sector.
- Support policy development, implementation, and communication.
Change Management
- Assist business leaders in managing organizational changes, restructures, and business transformations.
- Support communication strategies and employee transition activities.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, or related HR experience.
- Experience supporting employee populations within a corporate, manufacturing, laboratory, or life sciences environment.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, employee relations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred
- Experience in biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences industries.
- Knowledge of GMP, GxP, or regulated environments.
- HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
- Experience supporting a workforce of 400 employees.
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
