Job Title: HR Coordinator

Assignment Type: Direct Hire

Pay: $55000 – $60000 / Year

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week (8:30 AM – 5:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)

Benefits: This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).

Addison Group is partnering with our client, a mission-driven organization, to identify an HR Coordinator. This organization operates in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and is focused on supporting impactful work through strong internal operations and people-focused initiatives.

Job Description

The HR Coordinator will support daily human resources operations while contributing to key initiatives across recruiting, onboarding, employee records, and HR programs. This role works closely with a small HR team and plays an important part in maintaining efficient processes and a positive employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a resource for employee HR-related questions and provide timely support
  • Maintain accurate employee records and update HR systems accordingly
  • Assist with employee lifecycle changes including onboarding, transitions, and offboarding
  • Coordinate interview scheduling and communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
  • Prepare offer letters and onboarding documentation
  • Support new hire orientation and ensure a smooth onboarding experience
  • Assist with benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure accurate payroll-related updates
  • Help maintain compliance with employment regulations and internal policies
  • Generate reports and assist with HR data tracking and audits
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, trainings, and internal events
  • Assist with HR projects and process improvements as needed

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in HR, administrative, or coordination roles
  • Experience in nonprofit or association environments preferred
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Workday, ADP, or Paycom
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace
  • Experience with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Smartsheet) is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • High level of discretion with sensitive information
  • Adaptable, team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Associate’s degree required

  • This is a newly created position
  • Team size: 3 (including this role)
  • Organization size: Approximately 135–145 employees
  • Interview process: Two rounds (virtual and onsite)
  • Start date: Targeting late March/early April
