Work Schedule: M–F 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with some flexibility

Job Description:
We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Staff Accountant to support month-end close activities, reconciliations, and general accounting operations. This role will work closely with the accounting leadership team and play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong general ledger accounting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable working independently, asking questions when needed, and navigating large ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close activities including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and expense reviews
- Process bank reconciliations and maintain accuracy across cash-related accounting activities
- Prepare payroll-related journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance
- Review and analyze expenses, accruals, and invoice activity to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain fixed asset accounting records and support related reconciliations
- Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with internal accounting procedures
- Collaborate with accounting leadership and team members to support ongoing accounting operations and special projects
Qualifications:
- 3 years of general ledger accounting experience
- Experience with accruals, fixed assets, reconciliations, and month-end close activities
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes
- Experience working within large ERP systems (SAP or S/4HANA experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
