Job Title: Staff Accountant

Location: Minnetonka, MN (100% onsite, only local candidates in Minnesota will be eligible for consideration)

Compensation: $60,000 – 70,000 annually dependent on applicable experience

We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a stable and well-respected organization in a fully onsite role. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in full-cycle accounting and general ledger support who is looking for a long-term opportunity to make a consistent, hands-on impact.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in supporting the monthly close process, with a focus on reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and journal entries. This is a highly transactional, detail-driven environment where reliability, accuracy, and ownership are critical to success.

Daily Duties:

• Support transactional & GL accounting functions tied to trade activity and business operations
• Own complex invoice reconciliations, discrepancy resolution, and vendor follow-up
• Ensure AP & AR entries are accurate and tied out for management sign-off
• Post journal entries for recurring items and inventory adjustments
• Audit transactional data and troubleshoot issues proactively to keep the books clean
• Assist in reconciling general ledger accounts and assist in closing the books monthly
• Work with freight, weight variances, delay charges, and other trade-specific adjustments
• Partner with internal traders (~13 assigned) and serve as a consistent, reliable point of contact
• Provide backup and cross-functional support to the existing Accounting Reps and Manager as needed

• Service-oriented, adaptable, and calm under pressure
