Overview
Growing insurance organization seeking an experienced billing professional to lead premium billing and receivables operations. This role will oversee a team responsible for invoice administration, payment processing, account reconciliation, reporting, and customer support activities while ensuring operational accuracy and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day billing and receivables functions for an insurance-related business.
- Lead and develop a team focused on operational excellence and customer service.
- Monitor account balances, payment activity, reconciliations, and billing accuracy.
- Partner with internal departments to resolve billing issues and improve processes.
- Support audits, reporting requirements, and operational controls.
- Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, automation, and overall efficiency.
- Track key performance metrics and provide management reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5 years of experience in billing, premium accounting, receivables, or related financial operations.
- Prior leadership experience managing teams and processes.
- Insurance industry experience required; property & casualty background strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with billing platforms, financial systems, and reporting tools.
