Job Description:
Bilingual Patient Enrollment Specialist will assist patients in navigating available financial assistance programs, including Medicaid and hospital-based charity care. The ideal candidate will combine strong communication skills with a patient-first approach, ensuring each individual receives clear guidance and support throughout the financial counseling process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support patients with Medicaid, charity care, and ACA Marketplace enrollment
- Serve as a Certified Navigator for ACA/Marketplace programs
- Set up and manage payment plans with patients
- Maintain accurate case documentation within electronic systems (Epic experience a plus)
- Manage a monthly caseload of approximately 150 patients
- 2–4 years of experience in a hospital or FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) environment
- Proven experience working with Medicaid, ACA, and charity assistance programs
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Epic system experience preferred
- Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH)
