This role will focus on cash applications and deductions while also supporting broader AR functions. The ideal candidate brings a well-rounded AR background, strong systems experience (SAP highly preferred), and the ability to lead, mentor, and improve processes across the team.

Responsibilities
- Supervise and support AR team members, including coaching, training, and assigning daily workload
- Oversee cash application processes to ensure timely and accurate posting of customer payments
- Assist with deductions, short payments, and account reconciliations across customer accounts
- Monitor aging reports and partner with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or past-due balances
- Support ERP system activities, including customer setup, reporting, and process improvements
- Collaborate on automation and process enhancement initiatives within AR functions
- Contribute to month-end close activities and reporting requirements
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 5 years of accounts receivable experience, including prior leadership or supervisory responsibilities
- Experience with SAP strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and overall comfort working with data and systems
- Well-rounded AR experience (not limited to collections or a single function)
