Key Responsibilities
- Process full-cycle, multi-state payroll for a large employee population on a weekly basis
- Review and reconcile payroll data, including timesheets, deductions, and general ledger entries
- Manage payroll discrepancies and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Administer garnishments, levies, and wage deductions in compliance with regulations
- Ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filings at the federal and state levels
- Support year-end processes including W-2s and 1099s
- Generate and analyze payroll reports to ensure accuracy and identify trends
- Conduct payroll audits and maintain compliance with internal policies and regulations
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries and provide clear, professional guidance
- Assist with payroll system updates, enhancements, and process improvements
- 5 years of full-cycle payroll experience
- Experience processing payroll for large employee populations (400 employees)
- Multi-state payroll experience required
- Strong knowledge of payroll taxes, garnishments, and compliance requirements
- Experience with payroll systems (UKG Ready preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels
- Fully onsite role in Gainesville, VA
