This role will lead the collections function within a high-volume AR environment. You’ll drive strategy around aging, customer follow-up, and dispute resolution while helping bring structure and accountability to the collections process.
This is a strong fit for someone who is comfortable owning conversations, pushing back when needed, and improving how a company manages its receivables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of 5–6 AR staff focused on collections
- Own customer aging, collections strategy, and follow-up processes
- Drive reduction in DSO and improve cash flow performance
- Manage escalations and complex customer disputes
- Partner with internal teams (sales, customer service) on account resolution
- Monitor and report on aging, bad debt risk, and KPIs
- Identify gaps in collections processes and implement improvements
- Support broader AR initiatives including deductions/disputes
- Contribute to month-end close and reporting
- 5 years of AR experience with collections focus
- Prior leadership or mentorship experience
- Experience managing customer relationships and escalations
- Strong communication skills and ability to push for resolution
- Experience in high-volume environments
- ERP experience
