Addison Group is seeking a GL Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and the month-end close. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys working across the general ledger, investigating discrepancies, and improving accounting processes.
Location: Oakton VA - 2x on site
Type: Direct Hire
Pay: $80-85K (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
- Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support month-end and year-end close
- Investigate account discrepancies and make necessary corrections
- Assist with financial reporting, audits, and process improvements
Qualifications
- 3 years of general ledger or full-cycle accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong journal entry, reconciliation, and month-end close experience
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with an accounting or ERP system
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
