Our client is seeking a Client Engagement Leader to develop new business, strengthen existing relationships, and guide prospective clients through a consultative sales process. This individual will work closely with clients and industry partners to understand their needs, identify opportunities, and connect those needs with the appropriate audio/visual solutions.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable selling solutions that can involve a longer sales cycle and working with prospects who may not initially have a clear understanding of what they need. Success in this role requires strong communication, curiosity, relationship-building skills, and the ability to move opportunities from initial discovery through close.

- Participate in client meetings, events, sales appointments, and other relationship-building activities.
- Translate client requirements into clear information for internal engineering and design teams.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, manage opportunities, and support sales forecasting.
- Develop proposals and guide prospects through the sales process from initial conversation through close.
- Monitor project profitability and work toward assigned gross profit objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership and internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sales to project execution.
- Leverage existing opportunities within the sales pipeline while developing an independent book of business.
- Build long-term relationships that generate repeat and referral business.
Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of B2B sales, outside sales, territory management, or complex account development experience preferred.
- Experience selling within the commercial development, design, construction, technology, or related industries is preferred.
- Strong ability to understand and explain products, systems, and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to uncover needs and guide clients toward appropriate solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
- Comfortable working with prospects who may not initially know exactly what solution they need.
- Self-motivated, energetic, and goal-oriented.
- Comfortable working independently in a flexible, small-business environment.
- Ability to attend client meetings, networking events, and industry functions as needed.
- Audio/visual industry experience is not required.
- No specific degree or certification is required.
Additional Details:
- Full-time, direct-hire opportunity.
- Standard schedule is approximately 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with occasional events and client activities outside of normal hours.

- This role generally allows for 1-2 remote days per week, with flexibility based on business and client needs.
- Typical sales cycles range from 6-9 months, although certain opportunities may move more quickly.
- Reports directly to company leadership.
