- June 8 through July 31
We are hiring a dependable and energetic Summer Camp Counselor / Driver for our outdoor Nature Camp at Erna Nixon Park. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working with children, spending time outdoors, and leading fun summer activities.
As a Camp Counselor/Driver, you will supervise campers, assist with nature-based activities, and safely transport campers to and from field trips three times per week.
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 25 years old
- Experience working with children preferred
- Experience driving a passenger van or transporting groups strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Comfortable working outdoors in summer weather
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and engage campers throughout daily activities
- Assist with outdoor recreation and nature-focused programming
- Maintain a safe, positive, and inclusive camp environment
- Drive campers to scheduled field trips and activities
- Support camp operations and teamwork among staff
