Position: QA & BA (Quality Analyst Business Analyst)
Location: Anywhere in USA (Open to Relocate)
About the Role
We are seeking a dynamic QA & BA professional who can bridge the gap between business and technology — And someone who understands business needs, translates them into functional requirements, and ensures end-to-end product quality through effective testing and validation.
This is a dual-role position requiring strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and technical understanding.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Analyst Responsibilities:
Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from clients or stakeholders.
Prepare BRDs, FRDs, and User Stories using JIRA / Confluence / Azure Boards.
Conduct requirement walkthroughs and clarify technical or business queries with teams.
Map business processes, identify gaps, and suggest improvements or automation opportunities.
Act as a liaison between the development, QA, and business teams to ensure project alignment.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure the final product meets client expectations.
Quality Analyst Responsibilities:
Develop and execute manual and automated test cases based on business requirements.
Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, and UAT testing.
Track and manage defects in JIRA / Bugzilla / Azure DevOps.
Conduct API Testing using Postman and validate backend data using SQL queries.
Ensure deliverables meet quality standards, timelines, and business expectations.
Prepare and maintain test plans, test reports, and requirement traceability matrices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Postman, Selenium/Cypress (optional).
Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, stakeholders, and clients.
Prior experience in Salesforce / Web / ERP / Financial projects is an added advantage.
Good to Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Business Administration (or related field).
Certifications like CBAP, ISTQB, or Agile BA preferred but not mandatory.
