What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry level Sales Representative -Automotive Industry position at Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions?
A global automotive parts manufacturing company is looking for a motivated Sales Representative in their Novi, MI location.
Responsibilities Include:
- Establish relations with new and previous customers
- New business development with OEMs and Tier Suppliers
- Promote automotive bearing products and company itself
- Intelligently communicate with clients
- Travel to customer locations and prepare reports and compile data
- Make presentations to and attend meetings with client managers and engineers.
- Understand specifications for products for customer design assistance
- Create data, budgets, and reports regarding sales and marketing activity.
- Other Duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Communication or Marketing is preferred
- Entry level is welcomed
- Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time
- Experience with customer interaction/service preferred
- Must have excellent presentation skills
- Experience with working in a Japanese related environment is a plus
- Some engineering knowledge is a plus
