An international freight forwarding company is actively seeking an Entry Level Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarder to join their facility near College Park, GA.
Responsibilities of Entry Level Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarder
- Prepare documents for Air and Ocean Export or Import operations in a timely manner with appropriate procedures and guidelines
- Be responsible for A - Z logistics
- Manage cargo in case of emergency and ensure routes will be corrected in timely manner
- Communicate with clients and provide Logistics Customer Service
- Communicate with shipping companies, truckers, and other vendors, and arrange pick-up and delivery
- Making arrangements for domestic railway/trucking shipping
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications of Entry Level Logistics Coordinator – Freight Forwarder
- Associate’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
- Strong leadership skills in team environment and skills to bring positive atmosphere to the team
- Ability to be flexible to work effectively with wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environment
- Excellent communication (Speaking, Writing, Reading, Listening) and presentation skills
- Ability to multi-task and perform duties time efficiently
- Team-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivated
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
