Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) Application Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications that support manufacturing execution, production planning, and shop-floor integration. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in enterprise application development and a solid understanding of manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize MOM applications to support production, quality, inventory, and maintenance operations.
- Integrate MOM solutions with ERP, MES, and other enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with manufacturing engineers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and security standards.
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for MOM applications.
- Document technical designs, workflows, and user guides.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3 years of experience in application development
- Hands-on experience with MOM/MES platforms (e.g., Siemens Opcenter, Rockwell FactoryTalk, GE Proficy, or equivalents).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and shop-floor systems.
- Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and integration technologies (APIs, web services).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision and hearing.
Other duties assigned depending on various projects requirements.
