Job Summary
Perform various accounting and payroll functions for ACTION Housing Inc., and its subsidiaries.
Essential Functions
- Prepare monthly payroll and benefit journal entries and reconciliation.
- Assist with payment processing for construction projects and other grant programs as needed.
- Various operational and program journal entries.
- Prepare and analyze reports for year end.
- Prepare documentation for external auditors.
- Collaborate with Human Resources regarding payroll and benefit updates and changes.
- Prepare and monitor general and admin budgets for the agency.
- Other projects or duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or Accounting preferred, and/or at least 2-4 years accounting work experience.
- Prior experience in Accounting or Finance roles required, experience with payroll components preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and knowledge of accounting principles are essential.
- Physical strength to manipulate light to medium weight materials weighing 10 to 15 pounds on a regular basis.
- Work is conducted in a typical office environment with temperature control and natural and artificial light.

Salary : $50,400 - $69,300
