Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mid-Level Systems Administrator with 3-5 years of experience to join our team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a lead mentor who will guide you through the onboarding process and help you become proficient in our systems. The role is based onsite in Maryville, TN, and requires living within 20 miles to manage any emergencies outside of business hours. The work schedule is flexible, with most team members working from 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM.

Responsibilities

• Administer the local Data Center domain and Active Directory.
• Evaluate and purchase new equipment, including servers, SANs, and network switches.
• Configure and maintain servers, including patching and ensuring software licensing compliance.
• Maintain service contracts with Internet and cellular providers.
• Assist in SQL Server configuration, maintenance, cluster management, licensing contracts, backups, and recovery.
• Support the maintenance and testing of the Disaster Recovery system and associated contracts.
• Oversee local building security, fire, and alarm systems.
• Manage company-provided cell phones and tablets.
• Supervise onsite printing systems and their maintenance contracts.
• Administer and maintain manufacturing workstations.
• Serve as a local file server administrator, handling server maintenance, network configuration, user management, and corporate compliance.
• Be available to quickly respond on-site during off-business hours.

Essential Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in Systems Administration.
• Proficiency in SQL Server maintenance and configuration.
• Experience with server configuration and maintenance.
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Data Center domain administration.
• Familiarity with network switches, SANs, and server purchasing and evaluation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with local building security, fire, and alarm system administration.
• Ability to manage company-provided mobile devices and printing systems.
• Familiarity with disaster recovery system maintenance and testing.

Work Environment

This position requires working onsite at our Maryville, TN location. The work schedule is Monday through Friday with flexible hours, typically between 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 AM to 5 PM. The role involves managing an on-premise Data Center, Web Server, and SQL Server. The plant operates through the holidays, offering stability and a consistent work environment. A professional attire is expected within the workplace.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
