System Controls Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and play a crucial role in designing and improving manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems. You will collaborate with designers, conduct engineering inspections, analyze data, and manage small-scale projects to enhance product manufacturability and process efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Design and improve manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems.
• Support Floor-to-Floor (FTF) measurement and PPAP documentation.
• Collaborate with designers to optimize product manufacturability.
• Conduct engineering inspections and recommend improvements.
• Analyze data to identify process enhancements.
• Manage small-scale projects within established frameworks.
• Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers under contract plans.
• Contribute to product development and maintain internal client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Support knowledge sharing and continuous learning initiatives.

Essential Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–6 years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering.
• Strong skills in engineering design, development, and specification.
• Experience in project scheduling, costing, and budgeting.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical guidance.
• Familiarity with lean principles and change management tools.
• CNC machining process experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in CNC programming.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

This is a Permanent position based out of Mebane, NC.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
