Survey Technician

We are seeking a Survey Technician to join a highly respected and growing survey group supporting large‑scale infrastructure and construction projects throughout New York City. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot survey instrumentation near active construction sites
• Set up and manage Automated Total Stations in urban environments, including near buildings, roadways, and bridges
• Perform periodic field visits to ensure data accuracy and equipment performance
• Collect, process, and analyze survey and monitoring data
• Collaborate closely with surveyors, engineers, and project teams to ensure accurate reporting and successful project execution

What We’re Looking For

• 2 years of experience working with survey instrumentation and data collection
• Hands‑on experience with Automated Total Stations
• Proficiency with GeoMos software
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or higher in Civil Engineering Technology, Land Surveying, or a related field preferred

Work Environment & Growth

• Join a 30 person survey team supporting major NYC infrastructure projects
• Projects include work for public agencies such as DDC, SCA, Port Authority, Bridges, and major roadway programs
• Typical schedule: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Millburn, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $62000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
