Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to fill a crucial role within our Total Rewards function, ensuring continuity, stability, and forward momentum. This individual will work closely with the team during a planned overlap and transition period, confidently stepping into a hands-on role from day one.
Responsibilities
- Lead and administer health and welfare benefits from the employer side.
- Own daily operations and contribute to future plan design and strategy.
- Coach, mentor, and develop a team with strong people management skills.
- Utilize a data-driven approach, working with large data sets to analyze trends and perform financial and claims analysis.
- Translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and next steps.
- Operate in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment while also planning strategically.
- Communicate confidently and effectively, presenting data and partnering with Senior leadership and key decision-makers.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience in benefits administration and management from the employer side.
- Strong analytical and data-driven skillset; comfortable with large data sets and financial metrics.
- Management experience with the ability to delegate effectively.
- Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable presenting to and partnering with Senior leadership.
- Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate HR systems.
Work Environment
The role involves managing a team of three benefits professionals, partnering closely with an on-site Anthem representative, and being part of a broader HR organization of approximately 30 employees at corporate. The company operates on a 4-1 hybrid schedule, with all employees in-office on Mondays. As part of a global manufacturing organization, about 70% of the workforce is plant-based.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
