Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Benefits Manager to fill a crucial role within our Total Rewards function, ensuring continuity, stability, and forward momentum. This individual will work closely with the team during a planned overlap and transition period, confidently stepping into a hands-on role from day one.

Responsibilities

• Lead and administer health and welfare benefits from the employer side.
• Own daily operations and contribute to future plan design and strategy.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a team with strong people management skills.
• Utilize a data-driven approach, working with large data sets to analyze trends and perform financial and claims analysis.
• Translate data into clear insights, recommendations, and next steps.
• Operate in a fast-paced, highly transactional environment while also planning strategically.
• Communicate confidently and effectively, presenting data and partnering with Senior leadership and key decision-makers.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in benefits administration and management from the employer side.
• Strong analytical and data-driven skillset; comfortable with large data sets and financial metrics.
• Management experience with the ability to delegate effectively.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable presenting to and partnering with Senior leadership.
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate HR systems.

Work Environment

The role involves managing a team of three benefits professionals, partnering closely with an on-site Anthem representative, and being part of a broader HR organization of approximately 30 employees at corporate. The company operates on a 4-1 hybrid schedule, with all employees in-office on Mondays. As part of a global manufacturing organization, about 70% of the workforce is plant-based.

This is a Permanent position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
