Quality Tech

Join our dynamic team as a Quality Technician, where you will work from 7 AM to 7 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule, spending eight hours in the lab and four hours on the production floor. You will conduct tests for ozone, chlorine, pH, and turbidity, as well as perform packaging testing for fill weight and strength. This role requires a hands-on approach, collaborating with quality technicians and managers to ensure the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tests for ozone, chlorine, pH, and turbidity.
• Collect and analyze various samples in the lab.
• Perform coliform testing and micro counts plating.
• Conduct packaging testing for fill weight and strength.
• Participate in CIP cleanings and apply chemical knowledge.
• Assist on the production floor, ensuring quality and safety.
• Supervise vision check systems as a quality supervisor.

• Experience in quality assurance, biology, and lab work.
• Ability to conduct quality inspections and control.
• Knowledge of HACCP and related quality standards.
• Proficiency in computer skills is beneficial.

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• Prior experience in food or beverage industries is preferred.
• Entry-level candidates with lab experience are encouraged to apply.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pleasant Prairie, WI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
