Quality Assurance Engineer
Location: Mahwah, NJ
About the Role
Join a leading medical device company as an Associate Engineer in Quality Assurance, where you’ll play a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with suppliers, drive quality initiatives, and support engineering excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Review, document, and approve PPAP submissions.
- Understand and approve FAI, DCP, PFMEA, IGS, and manufacturing procedures.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
- Investigate nonconformances and manage CAPAs with suppliers.
- Apply knowledge of Supply Chain, Operations, and Production processes.
- Utilize PLCM tools (e.g., OnePLM, Windchill, SAP) for product lifecycle management.
- Work with production software such as MES, EPS, Oracle, iFactory.
- Manage engineering changes (ECR, ECN, CT) efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with supplier quality management and production systems.

This is a Contract position based out of Mahwah, NJ.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
