Job Description
We are seeking a Project Coordinator/Quality Control Specialist to support gas and telecom design projects. This role involves coordinating project activities, maintaining documentation, conducting quality control checks, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones. Responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities and ensure alignment with project goals.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for project tracking and quality control.
- Conduct quality control checks to uphold project standards.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and communicate progress effectively.
- Collaborate with engineering and drafting teams to facilitate project success.
- 2 years of project coordination experience in utilities, gas, telecom, or civil design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
- Experience with AutoCAD or MicroStation.
- Familiarity with permitting processes and agency submittals.
- Experience with project management tools (Smartsheet, Asana, MS Project).
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Located in Plantation, FL, the position is full-time with standard business hours. The work environment is office-based, involving coordination across engineering and drafting teams. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
