Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead and manage operations in a high-volume, fast-paced server manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and effectively directing activities to create goods, ensuring efficiency, while maintaining quality control and adhering to safety regulations. The ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure product quality, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage production schedules, allocate resources, and optimize workflows to meet demand.
• Implement and maintain quality control systems, ensuring products meet specified standards and resolve defects.
• Manage and motivate production teams, provide guidance, and foster a positive and productive work environment.
• Champion Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and implement process enhancements to improve throughput, reduce waste, and lower costs.
• Oversee material procurement, inventory management, and equipment maintenance to ensure smooth operations.
• Estimate costs, manage budgets, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Liaise with other departments (e.g., sales, marketing, engineering) to align production with business needs and market demands.

Essential Skills

• Proven experience in production, supervision, and production management.
• Experience in process improvement and continuous improvement strategies.
• Leadership: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a high-volume production setting.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills: Proficient in identifying and resolving production issues, optimizing processes, and making data-driven decisions.
• Technical knowledge: Proficient in manufacturing processes, preferably with familiarity in server manufacturing.
• Software Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access) and ERP/WMS platforms.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Education: BS in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience: Over 10 years in manufacturing operations, preferably in electronics or server manufacturing.
• Preferred experience in electronics/server manufacturing.

This is a Permanent position based out of Greensboro, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $120000.00/yr.

401k 6% PTO for 2 weeks

This is a fully onsite position in Greensboro,NC.
