Job Description:
- Verify medication orders for appropriateness, interactions, and allergies using the Cerner EHR system.
- Prepare and dispense medications in accordance with hospital protocols and state/federal regulations.
- Provide clinical support and drug information to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Oversee and verify IV admixtures and sterile compounding prepared by pharmacy technicians.
- Monitor patient medication therapies and provide recommendations for optimization.
- Ensure compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards for sterile compounding.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) is Mandatory
- Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in Arizona .is Mandatory
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience. is Mandatory
- Proficient in IV compounding techniques.and sterile product preparation.
- Experience with Pyxis automated dispensing systems

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $75.00/hr.
