$54.76 - $81.45 /hour

- Ensure the appropriate handling, processing and dispensing of all designated high risk medications in accordance with hospital policy.
- Ensures the timely clarification of medication orders.
- Assures entries to the patient medication profile present no significant problems in regard to drug interactions, drug-allergy interactions, incompatibilities, therapeutic duplications or patient safety, and intervenes as appropriate.
- Prepares, verifies and dispenses medications in a timely and accurate manner, utilizing available safety features (eg, barcoding) as outlined in our facility policy.
Miniumum
- B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm D.
- Valid Arizona pharmacist license
- One year acute care experience
- Strong clinical pharmacy skills
- Previous experience with Hospital Pharmacy computer systems
