Job Description
Join our team as a Patient Benefit Representative, where you will play a vital role in providing telephonic patient counseling, nursing intervention, and support to physicians. You will coordinate and deliver reimbursement and other services related to patient support programs, ensuring a high level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide telephonic patient counseling and nursing intervention.
- Support physicians in coordination and delivery of patient support services.
- Interact with patients, physicians, healthcare professionals, and multidisciplinary team members using web-based telephony and face-to-face communication.
- Apply standard policies and procedures in patient support activities.
- Resolve an assortment of moderately complex problems within defined practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in healthcare benefits and patient services.
- Competence in providing patient counseling and nursing intervention.
- Ability to work with moderate guidance in a healthcare setting.
- Full application of standard policies and procedures.
- Experience in patient support programs.
- Ability to provide resolutions to moderately complex problems.
- Service-oriented mindset.
This role offers a hybrid work environment, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm. You will work both remotely and on-site, utilizing web-based telephony and face-to-face communication tools to interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Cary, NC.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $38.00/hr.
