We are currently seeking a Benefit Analyst who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses exceptional organizational and critical thinking skills.
As a Benefit Analyst, you will support our Sales and Operations teams by analyzing benefit trends, evaluating plan performance, and providing data-driven recommendations for both clients and internal stakeholders. This role requires strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
How you'll make an impact
- Analyze medical benefit plan characteristics for new and renewing clients
- Assess group risk and project future claims using established underwriting criteria
- Price standard and custom benefit plans
- Negotiate rates and plan options to deliver cost-effective solutions
- Run product quotes, gather and summarize plan data from carriers, and negotiate discounts and rate guarantees
- Prepare renewal plan and cost summary exhibits
- Review claims reports and develop executive summaries and renewal forecasts
- Build and maintain Excel models for forecasting and other analytical projects
- Cultivating insurance carrier relationships and evaluating new marketing materials
- Ensure benefit summaries are accurate and complete
- Tackle special projects with initiative and creativity
- Other duties as assigned
- Follow company procedures concerning all essential duties and responsibilities
About You
Required: High School diploma or equivalent minimum of 2-3 years related experience.

Compensation and benefits
We offer a competitive and comprehensive compensation package. The base salary range represents the anticipated low end and high end of the range for this position. The actual compensation will be influenced by a wide range of factors including, but not limited to previous experience, education, pay market/geography, complexity or scope, specialized skill set, lines of business/practice area, supply/demand, and scheduled hours.
