Medical Representative (Rossford, OH)

Join a dedicated team committed to the safety and well-being of our workforce. As an Onsite Medical Representative (OMR), you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and safety of employees by providing first aid support, guidance on occupational and non-occupational injuries, and facilitating health and wellness initiatives.

• Provide first aid support and make referrals to outside medical providers as necessary.
• Minimize the risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement.
• Maintain all records of care provided to employees.
• Coordinate and maintain the workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for employees with work-related injuries.
• Provide daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
• Engage with employees and leadership on the operations floor to provide coaching on at-risk work habits.
• Maintain a clean working environment and ensure appropriate medical supply inventory is maintained.
• Participate in training and certification to facilitate first aid, CPR, and AED certification classes.
• Maintain all first aid, CPR, and AED credentials.
• Work flexible shifts, which may include days, nights, holidays, and/or weekends.
• Assist with random saliva drug testing protocols.
• Maintain effective care delivery in emergencies and assist emergency response at the site.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by an approved emergency cardiac care provider.
• Current, valid Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or Paramedic Certification from the Department of Health or the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT).

• Certification to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience with an industrial wellness program.
• Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics.
• Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers' Compensation.
• Proficiency in digital record keeping.
• Recent military experience as a Combat Medic, U.S. Army Field Medic, Healthcare Specialist, Hospital Corpsman, or Aerospace Medical Service Technician.

The work environment involves shifts likely on a Sunday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Sunday schedule, approximately from 7:00 to 18:30, subject to change. You will work in an environment with varying noise levels, temperatures, and weather conditions, including outdoor loading areas. The position requires standing or walking for up to 12 hours, lifting up to 49 pounds, and the ability to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, reach, and climb stairs.

This is a Contract position based out of Rossford, OH.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
