Manufacturing Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to support the operational side of PCB/electronics manufacturing. While having Department of Defense (DOD) experience would be beneficial, it is not a requirement. Experience with Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) will be a significant advantage.

• Develop and implement process improvements in electronics manufacturing.
• Create and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Provide technical writing support for manufacturing processes.
• Collaborate with teams to enhance manufacturing processes and product quality.
• Oversee the implementation and operation of SMT and Automated Optical Inspection (AOI) machines.

• Proficiency in manufacturing engineering and process improvement.
• Experience in electronics manufacturing and PCB manufacturing.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Knowledge of SMT and AOI processes.

• Experience with AOI machines is a bonus.
• Understanding of RF electronics manufacturing.

This position operates in both office and production/manufacturing environments. The role offers flexibility with potential for contract-to-hire or direct placement, depending on the situation. PTO and holidays are negotiable.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Walton Beach, FL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
