The Laboratory Technician works with biological and laboratory materials, media, and solutions while following established safety, quality, and documentation standards. The position involves hands-on bench work, use of standard laboratory equipment, and collaboration with a scientific team in a structured, quality-driven setting.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.

Responsibilities
- Perform basic laboratory techniques and procedures in support of medical device development and evaluation.
- Prepare laboratory materials, media, and solutions according to established protocols and specifications.
- Follow established procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and reliability of test methods.
- Assist in the execution of experiments and test methods under supervision, ensuring accurate and reliable data collection.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely laboratory records in accordance with good documentation practices.
- Support the implementation of laboratory activities within the framework of applicable design control and quality system regulations.
- Handle biological and laboratory materials in a manner that preserves sample integrity and supports downstream biological testing.
- Follow safety guidelines and laboratory best practices to maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Collaborate with team members to support day-to-day laboratory operations and meet project timelines.
- Report any deviations, issues, or equipment concerns to appropriate personnel to support continuous improvement and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, or a related scientific discipline, OR an Associate degree with equivalent laboratory experience.
- 0–2 years of relevant laboratory experience in an industry, academic, or internship setting.
- Foundational laboratory skills with the ability to follow established procedures accurately and consistently.
- Awareness of microbiology or biology techniques, with a preference for experience in media and material preparation.
- Understanding of how material preparation impacts downstream biological testing.
- Awareness of design control and quality system regulations such as ISO standards and FDA 21 CFR Part 820.
- Ability to maintain accurate laboratory records and follow good documentation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and compliance.
- Experience preparing microbiological media and laboratory materials.
- Exposure to regulated laboratory environments that follow design control and quality system requirements.
- Ability to work effectively under supervision while contributing to team objectives.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and maintain an orderly laboratory workspace.
- Good communication skills to document work clearly and collaborate with colleagues.
