Job Title: HRIS Analyst

Job Description

The HRIS Analyst will assist with HR data migration into a new or updated HRIS platform. Responsibilities include digitizing and securely uploading employee HR files, running, auditing, and validating regular Excel-based reports, and pulling data from internal systems for reporting, compliance, and analysis. Additionally, the role supports HR administration during system transition and cleanup.

Responsibilities

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with reporting, compliance documentation, or audits.
• Comfort handling confidential HR or employee data.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• High-volume data entry and administrative support experience.
• Compliance-oriented mindset.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to HRIS platforms (any system acceptable).
• Experience with Sage, Adobe, or SQL.
• Basic technical aptitude or light coding exposure.
• Prior HR, payroll, or personnel file experience.
• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree or 4 years experience preferred.

Work Environment

The role is based in an onsite administrative office environment in Hartford. It offers a collaborative HR team setting with opportunities for independent task ownership. The position utilizes secure HR systems and reporting tools, maintaining a predictable weekday schedule with part-time hours. The role provides hands-on exposure to HRIS migration and HR operations, making it an ideal entry point for candidates pursuing HR, HRIS, or analytics careers. There is contract-to-hire potential based on performance and business need.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hartford, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
