HRIS Analyst
We are currently seeking candidates for an HRIS Analyst position with a leading financial institution based in Hartford, CT. This role will focus on maintaining and enhancing HRIS functionality (Dayforce), supporting upcoming Workday implementation efforts, and managing HR data integrity, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
This is a 5 contract opportunity, paying between $45–$55 per hour (depending on experience). This role is fully onsite, 5 days per week in Hartford, CT, with an immediate start date.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and support the HRIS (Dayforce) database, ensuring system integrity, security, configuration, and user access accuracy.
• Support HR system upgrades, testing, integrations, and new module implementations.
• Partner with IT, HR leadership, and external vendors to develop and implement streamlined HR processes and automation.
• Assist with the annual salary and staffing budget, performance reviews, and merit increase cycles.
• Generate, analyze, and maintain HR reports (headcount, turnover, DE&I, etc.) using Excel and/or BI tools.
• Configure and manage accruals and tracking for employee time off, ensuring compliance with payroll and tax regulations.
• Provide HR systems support for onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
• Participate in upcoming Workday implementation, supporting testing, data validation, and end-user training.
Qualifications:
• 2–4 years of professional HRIS or HR operations experience, ideally within a corporate HR environment.
• Strong hands-on experience with Dayforce required; exposure to Workday highly preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dashboards, and automation).
• Proven ability to manage HR data accuracy, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, or a related field preferred.
• Proactive, adaptable, and detail-oriented, with a strong service mindset and problem-solving ability.
