Job Title: Fulfillment Pharmacy Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This role involves assisting team members, physicians, and patients in various daily activities such as data entry, answering phone calls, and clarifying physician orders. These orders are dispensed to our patients or to physicians' offices and are shipped by our pharmacy warehouse staff as noted in the patient profile.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a strong knowledge of pharmacy policies and government regulations and enter prescription information accordingly.
• Assist with quality improvement initiatives.
• Calculate doses needed for patients based on prescription and prescribing guidelines.
• Enter prescription information data into the pharmacy dispensing system for pharmacist review.
• Enter prescription clarifications taken by the pharmacist into the computer system.
• Assist patients and providers by answering phone calls and triaging them to the appropriate team or personnel if needed.
• Understand and work with programs based on specific program guidelines.

Essential Skills

• Registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy with proof provided prior to hiring.
• Demonstrated success working in a team-oriented environment.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly through both written and oral communications.
• Ability to read and interpret documents to carry out instructions.
• Flexibility to change priorities as needed, evidenced by the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
• PTCB Certification.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous pharmacy data entry experience.
• Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
• Client-facing experience over the phone is preferred.
• High School Graduate or equivalent GED.

Work Environment

1st Shift - Pay: 18.95/hour.

Monday 8:00am-6:30pm

Tuesday - Friday 10am-7:30pm

Saturday 12:00pm-8:30pm

This position initially requires working onsite for one week for side-by-side training. After training, the role transitions to a work-from-home setup with an onsite rotation of 2-3 days per month. The work schedule is from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime on Saturdays if requested.

This is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY.

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Louisville,KY.
