About the Role
A leading high-performance technology company is seeking a Field Application Engineer to support its expanding customer base across North America. This is a dynamic, customer-facing role ideal for candidates with a strong foundation in operating systems, kernel fundamentals, and low-latency systems. You’ll collaborate with global engineering teams and play a key role in product deployment, support, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, diagnosing incidents and delivering expert-level solutions.
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to identify customer needs and market opportunities.
- Collaborate with developers throughout the product lifecycle, including QA and documentation.
- Lead initial product deployments: hardware setup, software installation, and customer training.
- Design and document support processes to improve customer experience.
- Develop and maintain internal tools for configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Enhance internal infrastructure for system monitoring and verification.
- Contribute to product strategy and recommend enhancements.
- Stay current on industry trends and attend relevant conferences.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in FPGA, C/C , and low-latency systems
- Strong understanding of operating systems and kernel-level fundamentals
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of development experience
- Minimum 5 years in a customer-facing technical role
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
