Your role will also involve diagnosing and resolving issues with control panels and other automation equipment to minimize downtime and maintain smooth operations.
Responsibilities
- Install, wire, and configure control panels and electrical systems according to engineering specifications and safety standards.
- Integrate control panels with existing distribution center systems, such as conveyors and automated storage and retrieval systems.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with control panels, PLCs, and other automation equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and inspections on control panels and related equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance activities, and repairs.
- Update technical documentation and schematics as needed.
- Work closely with engineers, maintenance teams, and other technicians to coordinate projects and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in control panel installation and maintenance, preferably in a distribution or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Associate degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Automation, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in the field are a plus.
