Actalent is seeking to hire a dedicated Construction Project Engineer to assist Superintendents and Project Managers in day-to-day site management to ensure schedule and quality goals are met. You will manage the RFI and submittal process from creation through close-out, handle owner billings, track job-cost codes, and resolve project-related accounting items. Your role will include maintaining daily logs, progress photos, material procurement logs, change orders, and close-out documents. Additionally, you will help create and update project schedules, coordinate subcontractor insurance, bonds, and compliance paperwork, and support project safety by attending daily huddles and documenting inspections.

Responsibilities
- Assist Superintendents and Project Managers in site management to meet schedule and quality goals.
- Manage the RFI and submittal process from creation through close-out.
- Process owner billings and track job-cost codes.
- Resolve project-related accounting items.
- Maintain daily logs, progress photos, material procurement logs, change orders, and close-out documents.
- Help create and update project schedules using MS Project.
- Coordinate subcontractor insurance, bonds, and compliance paperwork.
- Support project safety by attending daily huddles and documenting inspections.
- 3 years of experience in construction management with experience in large commercial projects exceeding $10 million.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as MS Project, Bluebeam, and Procore.
- Ability to read plans, specifications, and shop drawings with a strong understanding of construction means and methods.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with estimation and change order processes.
