As a Senior Estimator, you’ll play a pivotal role in preconstruction, partnering with operations, design, and business development teams to deliver accurate, strategic cost estimates that set projects up for success. What You’ll Do
- Lead the estimating process for large, complex projects from concept through completion.
- Develop and refine cost models using advanced tools and market insights.
- Coach and mentor estimators, fostering growth and excellence within the team.
- Analyze project plans and bid documents, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize cost and enhance project outcomes.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders, ensuring clarity, confidence, and satisfaction.
- Stay ahead of market trends, tracking material and labor pricing for accurate forecasting.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent experience).
- 5–10 years of estimating experience in diverse facility types (healthcare, residential high-rise, interiors, institutional).
- Expertise in On-Screen Take-off, Destini, and site work software.
- Strong conceptual estimating skills and ability to work with limited information.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills—comfortable leading client meetings and interviews.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to build strong industry relationships.

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Albany, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
