Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Estimator to join our growing construction management team. This role plays a critical part in driving our strategic expansion across Northeastern Wisconsin by delivering accurate and competitive project estimates. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in commercial construction estimating, strong technical skills, and a collaborative mindset to support both our Milwaukee and Wausau offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates and competitive bids for commercial construction projects
- Analyze construction documents, specifications, and blueprints to determine scope and requirements
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment on project goals and budgets
- Utilize Bluebeam and Timberline (Sage Estimating)software to develop and manage estimates
- Conduct quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and value engineering assessments
- Maintain and update historical cost data and unit pricing for future reference
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and proposal presentations as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial construction estimating
- Proven track record working with a General Contractor on mid- to large-scale projects
- Proficiency in Timberline (Sage Estimating) and Bluebeam Revu
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and industry standards
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other estimating tools
Preferred Skills & Attributes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously
- Familiarity with local subcontractor market and pricing trends in Wisconsin
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wauwatosa, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
