Analytical Chemist
Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. The role involves handling the sample collection and preparation process, ensuring accuracy and precision in laboratory analysis. Responsibilities
- Collect and prepare samples for laboratory analysis.
- Accurately label samples and ensure correct processing before ICP testing.
- Transport samples to various labs for preparation and analysis using techniques such as XRF and ICP-MS testing.
- Conduct initial ICP-MS testing and document results.
- Report findings to the Lab Manager in a timely manner.
Skills & Qualifications
- One to three years of experience in a laboratory or similar environment (will accept undergraduate lab experience)
- Experience in materials sampling and sample preparation is preferred.
- An associate or bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline, ideally chemistry.
Work Environment
The position operates on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule from 7 pm to 7 am. The role involves working in a mix of plant and laboratory settings.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eagan, MN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $31.00 - $31.00/hr.
