Food Runner

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests quickly and accurately

• Ensure food presentation meets restaurant quality standards before delivery

• Refill water, beverages, and assist with guest needs as directed by servers or management

• Assist servers during peak service times to ensure smooth operations

• Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and back-of-house support areas

• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and supervisors

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service policies

• Comply with all tribal, casino, and departmental rules and regulations

• All other duties as assigned

• Provide friendly, professional, and courteous service to all guests

• Respond promptly to guest requests and concerns

• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment

• Uphold the casinos commitment to exceptional hospitality and guest satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Must be able to obtain and maintain all required casino and tribal licenses or permits

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to lift and carry trays, bus tubs, and items weighing up to 25–40 pounds

• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions

• Ability to work in a noisy, crowded environment

Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events

Compliance & Licensing

• Must meet all tribal gaming commission, casino background check, and licensing requirements

• Must adhere to tribal employment policies and procedures

Education and Experience

• Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required
