Role Description
This is a full-time, remote position for a Senior Business Development Manager. In this role, you will drive OEM and ODM business growth by acquiring new customers, expanding strategic accounts, and building strong executive relationships in the U.S. networking and AI infrastructure market.
You will own the full opportunity lifecycle, including customer engagement, RFQ and RFI responses, technical alignment, and contract negotiation, while working closely with R&D and Product Management teams.
The ideal candidate has strong industry experience, an established OEM network, and a proven track record of securing design wins and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. OEM Customer Acquisition
- Identify and win U.S. networking OEM customers, AI start up companies , Optical solution customers requiring ODM hardware development and manufacturing.
2. Strategic Account Development
- Build long-term executive relationships with:
- CTO
- VP Engineering
- Product Management leaders
- Supply chain executives
3. Program Ownership
- Lead the opportunity lifecycle of ODM programs:
- Opportunity identification
- RFQ/RFI responses
- Technical alignment
- Contract negotiation
4. Bridge Between Customer and Product Management Engineering
- Coordinate with:
- R&D engineering
- Product Management
5. Market Expansion
- Identify new opportunities in:
- Hyperscale data centers
- AI networking infrastructure
- Enterprise switching
- Telecom edge equipment.
Required Qualifications
Experience
- 10–15 years networking industry experience
- Strong background in: Networking hardware, Telecom infrastructure, ODM / OEM partnerships.
Technical Knowledge
Understanding of networking technologies:
- Ethernet switching (25G / 100G / 400G / 800G)
- Routing platforms
- Data center networking
- white-box networking architecture.
Relationship Network
Most important requirement:
- Existing OEM industry connections
- Ability to introduce ODM to new accounts
- Proven track record of securing design wins.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and sales experience, including lead generation, client engagement, and partnership building
- Proficiency in market analysis, trend forecasting, and go-to-market strategy development
- Leadership and team collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams effectively
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Experience in the technology and hardware or AI/ML sectors is highly desirable
- Ability to work on-site in Irvine, CA, with occasional travel as needed
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue and business growth targets

Travel Requirement
