Role Description
The Facility Manager will oversee all facility operations for our production site near Dallas, Texas. This role is responsible for ensuring reliable performance of all infrastructure systems—including power distribution, HVAC, water, air compression, and building maintenance—while driving preventive maintenance and continuous improvement. The position will also manage new construction, expansion, and facility upgrade projects, ensuring compliance with local safety and environmental standards.
Facility Operations
- Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, compressed air, freight elevator, and water supply/drainage systems.
- Oversee building maintenance and repair works, ensuring optimal facility conditions.
- Manage and monitor plant-wide utility usage (power, water) and implement energy conservation measures.
- Establish, implement, and maintain OI/SOP documentation for all facility systems.
- Prepare annual maintenance plans and budgets, and manage expenditures.
- Calibrate and maintain all instrumentation and control systems.
- Record, analyze, and archive daily operation logs and maintenance reports.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe facility environment, ensuring compliance with EHS standards.
Project Engineering
- Plan, tender, supervise, and manage acceptance for new construction and expansion projects.
- Oversee hook-up works for utilities such as electrical, water, gas, fire protection, and drainage systems.
- Prepare and manage hook-up construction drawings, technical documentation, and archives.
- Clarify and confirm specifications for facility infrastructure supporting production and IT equipment.
- Plan, tender, supervise, and manage acceptance for facility upgrade and improvement projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical, Mechanical, Facility Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in facility management, preferably in electronics or data center environments.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Experience in new factory construction or large-scale facility setup projects.
- Strong technical knowledge in power distribution, HVAC, compressed air, water systems, and environmental safety.
- Familiar with preventive maintenance programs, CMMS, and energy management systems.
- Strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time constraints.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and related facility management software.
- Good communication skills in English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
