- Oversee preparation and posting of journal entries and support month-end and period-end close processes.
- Manage financial reporting activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP and internal policies.
- Lead and supervise a small accounting team, providing guidance and oversight on daily activities.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, including documentation and auditor requests.
- Analyze financial results and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Contribute to strategic financial planning and decision-making initiatives.
- Use advanced Microsoft tools and ERP or financial systems to streamline workflows and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Active CPA required.
- 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with journal entries, close processes, and financial statement preparation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft tools and experience with ERP or financial systems.
- Proven background in audits, financial reporting, budgeting, and GAAP compliance.
- Experience in a highly technical or regulated industry is a plus.
