Position Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, and providing actionable insights to support strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and skilled at managing both processes and people.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Oversee and review ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end close activities.
· Maintain and ensure accuracy of the general ledger.
· Coordinate and manage annual audits and compliance requirements.
· Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management, stakeholders, and external parties (e.g., vendors, lenders).
· Partner with other departments to evaluate financial impact of strategies, objectives, and decisions.
· Provide financial analysis focused on capital investments, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations.
· Lead and mentor team members to ensure accurate financial reporting and effective management of daily responsibilities.
· Lead special projects as assigned by the VP of Finance or Senior Manager of Finance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities across diverse markets.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 70%.
Education / Training / Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA or CMA a plus).
- 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience; prior management experience preferred.
Related Experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a dynamic environment.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Excellent communication skills.
