Job Summary

The Receiving Specialist will work closely with the other members of the inventory departments to track inventory movements and assist with counting throughout the month.
Responsibilities
- Manage the receipt of packages and materials, ensuring each item is carefully checked for accuracy, quality, and condition upon arrival.
- Organize and store all inventory items efficiently within the warehouse, following established protocols for safety, accessibility, and optimal space utilization.
- Assist if needed with inventory counts, to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare items for shipping as needed, including packaging, labeling, and arranging shipment pick-ups to ensure timely delivery.
- Duties as needed to assist the Inventory Manager and team in maintain stock and records.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Forklift certificate (Preferred).
- Previous experience in receiving (Preferred).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (Preferred).
- Strong inventory control skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy (Required).
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment (Required).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to address issues proactively (Required).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team (Required).
- Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods (Required).
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (Required).
- Punctual, reliable, and conscientious work ethic (Required).
