Key Responsibilities
Prospecting & Outreach
- Research target accounts, industries and decision-makers.
- Conduct outreach through phone, email, LinkedIn and in-person networking to generate qualified opportunities.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects and conversations.
- Tailor messaging to each audience with professionalism and credibility.
- Represent the company at client meetings, networking events, conferences and other business development opportunities.
- Develop trust and rapport quickly with prospective clients and partners.
- Listen carefully to understand business challenges and identify opportunities to add value.
- Ask the right questions to uncover needs, priorities and fit.
- Qualify opportunities based on business need, timing and fit.
- Collaborate with internal sales leadership to advance qualified prospects through the pipeline.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up activity.
- Support the transition from first conversation to meaningful sales opportunity.
- Travel regularly within the state and region to support client meetings, prospecting and local market engagement.
- Attend industry events, conferences and networking opportunities as needed.
- Serve as a visible and credible face of the organization in the market.
- Meet or exceed outreach, meeting and pipeline goals.
- Maintain strong follow-through and persistence through long sales cycles and rejection.
- Use feedback and results to continually refine approach.
- Contribute to a high-performing sales culture.
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development or client relationship roles.
- Polished, professional presence and strong communication skills.
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to connect with a wide range of people.
- Confident, personable and naturally extroverted.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, challenging questions.
- Resilient, self-motivated and motivated by results.
- Comfortable traveling regularly within the state and region.
- Experience in tech, IT or professional services sales.
- Existing network or familiarity with the local/regional market.
- Experience with CRM systems and prospecting tools.
- Track record of success in outbound prospecting, relationship building or pipeline generation.

Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
